LEAD PASTORS

We’re two Hispanic kids who grew up in Miami, Florida. Mauricio is a chef-turned-pastor, and Renee is an artist with a passion for creativity and ministry.

We met while serving at church in 2013, got married in 2014, and now have two strong-willed daughters, Averie (8) and Mila (6), who keep life fun and full of adventure.

After years of ministry, saying "yes" to God led us from Hendersonville to Red River Church in Springfield, Tennessee—and we couldn’t be more excited about what He has ahead.

Together, we bring over 15 years of ministry experience and a deep passion for helping people encounter Jesus, find community, and discover their God-given purpose.

Pastor Mauricio is a credentialed minister with the Assemblies of God in Tennessee.

At Red River, we are a Spirit-filled church grounded in God's Word.

Our prayer is to see generations—young and old, from every background and nation—transformed by the love and power of Jesus Christ.

We would love the opportunity to meet you and your family this Sunday. Welcome to Red River Church—we can't wait to see what God does next.

What We Believe

Jesus Is the Only Way

We believe that salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone. Jesus, the Son of God, came to earth, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again on the third day. Through His death and resurrection, He made a way for every person to be forgiven, restored, and reconciled to God.

Key Scriptures: John 14:6, Romans 10:9-10, Ephesians 2:8-9

Jesus Is Coming Again

We believe that Jesus Christ will return for His Church just as He promised. His return is our blessed hope and motivates us to live with faith, purpose, and expectation.

Key Scriptures: John 14:1-3, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, Revelation 22:12

Jesus Still Heals

We believe that God still heals today. Through the power of Jesus Christ, physical, emotional, and spiritual healing are available. We pray boldly, trust God's promises, and believe He is still working miracles in people's lives.

Key Scriptures: Mark 16:17-18, James 5:14-16, Isaiah 53:5

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit

We believe that every believer can experience the baptism of the Holy Spirit, empowering them to live boldly, serve effectively, and be witnesses for Christ. We also believe that the gifts of the Holy Spirit are active today and are given to strengthen and build up the Church.

Key Scriptures: Matthew 3:11, Acts 1:8, Acts 2:4, 1 Corinthians 12

The Bible Is Our Foundation

We believe the Bible is God's inspired Word and our ultimate authority for faith and life. It reveals God's character, His plan for humanity, and His purpose for the Church.

Key Scriptures: 2 Timothy 3:16-17, Psalm 119:105
